Roy & McHardy

Roy and McHardy are two artists, Marina Roy and Natasha McHardy, working in collaboration in the area of video and performance.
They write the scripts, act, shoot, and edit the video productions themselves, with minor assistance from other parties. Their work is based on a "do-it-yourself" ethos, a kind of self-sufficiency, and even a "Bouvard-and-Pecuchet" type curiosity vis-a-vis the world. The work they do together also reflects an interest in pedagogy and humour.
They have been working together since 2003. They live and work out of Vancouver.

Video productions:

Alice and Martha, 30 minutes, 2007
Boucher and Cacciatore, 20 minutes, 2004
George and Jorge, 20 minutes, 2004
